Analyzing Political Pictures
Nike victum
The creator of this piece says it's a reaction to our obession with fashion labels and the bad labor conditions in some Third World factories where most clothes are made.
The person in the picture seems to be a late teenager(about 17/18) vwith a carved nike symbol on his cheek sewn together. In reality the Nike symbol seems to be photoshoped. However, it looks real (but its not). What the message is saying is that even though we're enjoying our designers labels the labor conditions in the factories cause pain. Im pretty sure it took a lot of pain to carve the Nike symbol in that guys cheek. Get it? Got it? Good.

R.I.bP.
The artist know as Emek created this politcal picture called R.I.bP
after last springoil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. He describes his piece this way: “First you see the biggest image—a dead fish with a gas mask—then you see the symbol of BP, then you connect it with the wordplay.” He says the dead fish is meant to symbolize the oil spill’s disastrous effects on both the environment and on the livelihoods of Gulf fishermen. Emek adds that he hopes people who see his poster will “remember that our world is fragile and connected.” Don’t be surprised if many of the pieces here blatantly criticize big corporations or American policies or politicians; the people and institutions that hold the greatest power have traditionally been the prime targets of criticism. And while you may agree with some artists’ views, others may upset or even offend you. The purpose of these images is to provoke a reaction.

Off/On Imperialisim
This artist assumes that it doesn't matter who's president, the United States is still attempting to impose its will on the other side of the world. In the picture you see a skeleton that is wearing a suit taking off a mask and putting another one on. But wait those aren't any kind of mask. Those aren't the past and present presidents faces. The first mask thats being taken off is former president,George Bush. The mask that's being taken off second is the president we have currently,President Barak Obama. To make this picture I assume this artist also used photoshop.
The message in this picture is as the artist stated it,whoever's presidet seems to impose its will overseas. When we had Bush as president we had imperialism beacause we were in a war somewhere overseas. When Obama became president not much had changed besides the killing of Bin Laden and the war ending in Afghan. But that's just it,they say the war is over but we're still in Afghan. So the artist sees imperialism as a skeleton just whereing a mask(the Presidents) FYI I suprrot Obama.."haters ganna hate"

Two Tales of Indias
There are two sides to India. The educated side that works in the city and the uneducated side that works in the country.
The caste systems says if your born rich you stay rich and if your born poor you stay poor. China is more advanced but both countrys have governments that control them. India's population is increasing and evolving. To emerge as a global power India would have to
grow more economically and be open foreign investments. Nowadays India has an educated job force so it can be used by other countries
It gives the rest of the world cheap technically trained workers. In India's past 20 years their government began to turn away from socialism and loosen regulations so that there has been an economic growth in India.

"Has Dr.Martin Luther King's dream been realized?"
Yes and No. Although our country has grown together as a whole, there are some people in this world who like to separate the races.
Racism has not gone away and it still exist, but the world is definitely more accepting now. His dream was for the whites and the blacks to live peacefully together. This one man did make a difference, but people are stubborn, not everyone will agree to everything. These people are wrong. They believe that one person is higher than the other just because of skin color. Thats why the answer is no. The answer is yes because the blacks have gained their rights and have be come equal in this country and the world. Thats all Dr. King wanted.
